Trainspotting
I've always had a thing for trains. Something about fire breathing beats of steel and iron was always pretty incredible, as well as the work that went into making them come alive.
This translated into photography to show the "spirit" of the railway. Railway photography is always a wonderful technical challenge. Be it trying to balance indoor and outdoor light at Newcastle Central Station or the perfect shutter speed to capture a steam locomotive, it's always a good day out.
