I believe in fighting the good fight and the pursuit of the truth through imagery in this age of fake news. I'm curious, empathetic and experimental. I seek to use modern methods to cover events and further showcase stories. These range from 360 degree filming to panorama images to immerse readers in the story.
As a combat photographer, I was tasked to single-handedly cover major events both in Singapore and Australia. I was required to think on my feet and handle coverage from all perspectives. Through listening and communication, I was able to engage with my audience as well as subjects to bring together a full line of coverage that visualises the views of both parties and allows both parties to step into the shoes of the other.
While an intern at the Singapore Island Country Club, I was tasked with the media coverage of the May Day Charity 2016 event and to compile the fundraising video to help promote the event and its beneficiaries which resulted in over $1.2m being raised.
I aim to be hands-on and actively involved in every level of projects I'm assigned to see it from start to finish.
My basic NLP training gives me the edge to write stories so as to best impart stories to its readers.
